Fall Design-Food-Entertaining
With all that fall has to offer we sometimes over look its charms with the rush of Halloween and Christmas, but not me. Sunny days mixed with cooler weather and a great sweater is just simply amazing. Fall reminds me of days at my granny and pa’s house where a tire swing and jumping into a pile of leaves lead to some of the most wonderful days. I am somewhat alone in my love of fall since most of my family prefers the sunshine and heat filled days of summer but what can I say… I am a fall and winter kind of girl. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE summer and all it has to offer, but being a hot nature girl, I love cooler weather and I love decorating in all season but fall brings a more dramatic change in colors from summer not to mention starts pushing me towards my LOVE for Christmas but I am not starting my Christmas decorating just yet (maybe next week). Decorating in the fall for me comes a with a change in tablescapes and switching out front porch décor along with making all those traditional fall foods that we all love. I also like finding a new color to help transition from the vibrant summer colors to the traditional fall colors…and who knew this years new fall color would be Blushing Brilliance from Benjamin Moore! You can find the blush colors in more designs and accent pieces this year than ever before so check out some of our fall ideas using not only traditional fall colors but also white and blushes to showcase the fall season in a new light. Check out the design board for a fall living room below incorporating traditional fall colors with blush tones, creamy whites, with a playful mix of textures.
